I’ve been playing Valkyrie nonstop since it was released, so I just wanted to share my opinions on it with you guys just incase some are confused about what skills to use.
Here are some of the definitions you should know just incase:
Superarmor: the skill continues even if you get hit
Semi-Superarmor: the skill contuse even if you get hit and can only be broken by Semi-superarmor breaking skills
Iframe: period of invincibility, nothing can damage you
Launcher: any skill that puts an enemy into the air
Vacuum: called force ingame, it pulls enemies in
Guard Break: it breaks guard…
Stun: makes target unable to act for a short time
Charge: moves forward and blocks some ranged attacks

Actions

Gust Wind – Super armor on startup
Prereq for Gale shot you only don’t waste your sp on this
Recommendation: Lv 5

Flash Strike (spear) – Semi-superarmor
I could see the argument to not max it but I spam it in both pvp and pve.
Recommendation: Max

Canon reload – no frame
Well u gotta reload at some point…

Device Shoot – Superarmor when casting
A lot of your damage output comes from this
Recommendation: Max

Lock-on Target Shoot – Superarmor
Awesome damage even in Raebin, I spam bosses with it in parties and it can keep some bosses in tower pinned down
Recommendation: Max

Shooting Jump – Iframe – Stun maybe?
Great combo starter and in Pvp
Recommendation: 1

Shooting Ray –Iframe while dodging, Super armor while crouched
So much damage….
Recommendation: Max

Upper Kick – Superarmor
Really high damage in pve and great for stopping people dead in their tracks in PVP, I have mine at lv 3 for the add on command and to keep combos. Other places to put SP though
Recommendation: 3

Fast Moving – Full iframe – Charge
I don’t find maxing this skill really needed for PVE but having it maxed makes some bosses in tower a bit easier. It really shines it PVP when comboed with backstep.
Recommendation: 1 for PVP, Max for PVP

Spear pierce – Super armor – stun

High damage in pvp and pve but my points were scarce so something had to be sacrificed.
Recommendation: 5 for PVE, Maybe higher for PVP but 5 is working just fine for my uses

Gravity Cannon – no frame
Makes a nice bubble that takes 30% of bosses defense away and gives me about 1.9k in both defenses and the damage is nice.
Recommendation: Max

Multi-target shoot – Semi Superarmor
It’s alright but I only use it to fly and lock-on to bosses
Recommendation: 3 (for prereq)

Device Enchant- Semi-Superarmor
Each level reduces cooldowns by 1% and drops enemy move speed by 5%
Recommendation: Max

Flamethrower – Semi-superarmor, Stun on start
Clears entire groups in pve and low CD, and it’s a flamethrower XD why not
Recommendation: Max

Anti-gravity cannon – iframe when shooting
Slows enemies depending on their level, not much use for pvp but the damage is nice in PVE
Recommendation: max for PVE, lv 1 for PVP

Photon Cannon – Iframe on startup, Superarmor while casting
The charge time is sort of long but man this thing mows down anything in its way and has really nice range. 994%+1328 x 4 at lv 6

Commands

Backstep - Iframe – stun
Really nice catch for PVP its autolearned

Escape – Iframe – Stun
As a squishy class you’re gonna need as many iframe as possible
Recommendation: 1

Falling heel – Superarmor
Not much use in PVE but it combos into heavy down spin well in pvp

Heavy Down Spin – Semi-superarmor
High damage even in PVP but there is an argument somewhere im sure to not max it which is understandable. Great Combo Starter in pvp
Recommendation: either lv 1 or max for PVE, Max for PVP

Grounding Shot – Iframe
Add-on for heavy down spin. Adds 2 extra hits of high damage
Recommendation: lv 1 for pvp, Max for PVP if you like to combo

Holding Shot – Full iframe – grab
The iframe is pretty long so nothing wrong with having it for PVE and damage doesn’t downscale in PVP

Shell Vulcan – SSA
Lets you shoot a machine gun in the air but its low damage, not worth maxing it in PVE but makes people panic in PVP
Recommendation: 1

Fast sinking – iframe
2^nd evasive dash, but most of the time you’ll end up in combo again because of lag

Shell Buster – iframe
Part of melee combo and add-on to upper kick very nice skill for pvp I may max it in the future
Recommendation: 1 for PVE , maybe max for PVP ( personal choice)

Air Technician – Superarmor
Eagle swan diving skill O>O low damage though
Recommendation: 1

Gale Shot – no frame
Oh sweet god, this thing is a bosses worse nightmare, whoever doesn’t max this… what are you doing with your life. 165% a hit in PVE on bosses it hits about 50-70 times, we can all do math I’m sure e.e
Recommendation: Max

Auto Reboot – no frame
Some skills cause auto reloading it can be a life saver

Air Target Shoot – Iframe on cast, SSA in air
Same thing as multi target shoot but it lets you do it while flying

Recommendation: 1

Moving Cannon Shot – no frame
I mainly use it to catch in PVP even though its super slow XD
Recommendation: 1

Break Spin – iframe in PVE, SSA in PVP and stun
More OP damage and its fully iframed in PVE, damage isn’t that great in PVP but it stuns and can combo into other skills well
Recommendation: Max

Operation – Super armor
A nice little nuke for PVE, and can start combos if anyone gets caught in it XD
Recommendation: learn it

Passives
Force Mastery I,II,III – Don’t be that guy you need it silly
Technical mastery - Yes get it
Increase Number of Bullets – More bullets more pew pew more QQ oh god yes! Mine is maxed but you could stop at lv 5 if youre pure PVE but even still its nice to fire off 45 rounds without reloading
Promotion – high chance to shoot 5 missles and break guard and semi-superarmor. So much damage from this.
Big Boom – Yes get it, more boom more damage
Hp passive – yes max it
Mp passive – I didn’t take it at all even when I was ungeared I never ran out of mp. Its better used for PVP sometimes I run out of MP mid combo and I’m forced to drop but this is only on really tanky classes

Gear:
Accessories: All crit
Weapon: Crit, you won’t an attack speed weapon.
Auspice: Bless of Badhbh Cath A.K.A Bad Kitty > polar bear > Dark Santa > anything else you can get
Title: Legend guardian of the Kingdom (+75 hth/int 3% CD 2% move speed) > Manos Dominator (100 manos kills) 42 str > anything with str
