To The C9 Community: A Wish For C9 Event
Hellooooos. So I heard about this new event Webzen is doing regarding making your wishes for C9 come true. I loved being active on this game back when it wasn't as broken as it had gotten, but man did it get broken...ANYWAY I recommend everyone vote for Contents Improvement/Renewal. Webzen seems to continue focusing on adding new content to get players back and keep what they have left active, only for them to get pissed off by the same old things that need to be improved and leave. That's also why the game doesn't grow. So if they do manage to improve the things that matter most I would actually find time to return to this game no doubt, and I'm sure many others would too. If Webzen just fails with this, or doesn't make the necessary improvements in the areas that need it most, I guess it would just be best for them to shut down C9 or preferably sell it to a better company.
Also below is the wish I made to the support team including my solution for the PvP side of things; I was never much of a PvE'er so I couldn't comment on that but yeah. Whether or not you guys agree with my solution doesn't matter to me but I recommend giving them an in-depth response on what you want, and make sure it's something most would agree can improve the game.

I (Pervy) quit this game, as well as the VL team a while back but recently heard about this event so I'm here to give input on what would bring me, and the majority of old C9 players back. Webzen has been too focused on adding new content to bring players back. You should be focusing on improving what you already have implemented. PvP specifically. There are 3 main problems that drive people away from PvP. 1. Delay/Lag 2. Broken Class Balance 3. Broken Gear System. Your first priority should be to solve the Lag problem which would bring me, and every PvPer I know back to C9. Solution: Divide the arena into 3 main channels and restrict them by region IP address. 1 for North America and Canada, 1 for South American Countries, and 1 that is completely unrestricted. This way your players have a place to go to enjoy PvP without excessive amounts of lag which ruins the experience, and if they want to play with a friend that lives outside their region they can always enter the OPEN channel where there is no restriction. (This would only apply to PvP thus the PvE content would not suffer a division or decrease in activity.) Your second priority should be to balance the classes and gear. I say you should balance both classes and gear at the same time because they are dependent on each other. The current class balance is really broken where classes like Taoist, Elementalist, Demonisher, Battle Maiden, and Erta are extremely overpowered and really need to be nerfed. Some classes need improvements like Warrior, Blademaster, and Bladedancer. Balancing the damage these classes do, as well as the skill frames and animations they have in harmony of the gear possibilities they have, would dramatically improve the PvP experience. As I've said PvP should be your main focus because it is what originally made this game thrive. The combat system is the most innovative aspect of C9. Focus on improving that and you could end up seeing C9 on the competitive gaming scene like Street Fighter or Quake. Good luck to you guys and I hope you take this seriously, Peace.
